On Sunday August 3rd at 10a.m. at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia, thousands will gather from around the country for the closing services of the 89th International Holy Convocation for the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc.

During this ceremony Chief Apostle Bishop William Bonner will announce the elevation of Pastor Hezekiah Walker, Love Fellowship Tabernacle Brooklyn, New York into the sacred position of Bishop.

After 14 years of pasturing one of the fastest growing churches in the New York City area and in Ben Salem, Pennsylvania; and having fellowship churches in Long Island, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and recently a Love Fellowship Tabernacle "The Kingdom Church" in Capetown, South Africa; Pastor Walker has been chosen to be consecrated into the bishopric by Chief Apostle Bishop William L. Bonner.

"This honor means so much to me but also to my churches. Words can not express how I feel to receive this elevation from Bishop William L. Bonner, truly this is a blessing from God," states Pastor Walker.

The ceremony will take place in the Georgia World Congress Center, Hall B-3, located at 285 Andrew Young International Blvd., NW, Atlanta, Georgia.

Think on these things...

At this they tried to seize him, but no one laid a hand on him, because his time had not yet come. Still, many in the crowd put their faith in him.

They said, "When the Christ comes, will he do more miraculous signs than this man?"

John 7:30-31/NIV

Thought...
The enemies of Jesus had tried repeatedly to seize him. Yet the Gospel of John reminds us again and again that no one could seize Jesus until he offered himself up to them.

Jesus' death is a voluntary sacrifice, a triumph of his obedience to his Father's will over his own will for preservation. He obeyed and we are saved! He offered himself as a sacrifice so we could be adopted into the Father's family!

Prayer...
Lord Jesus, I thank you for honoring our Father and being obedient to him and his timing in your life. Thank you for choosing to die for me and redeem me from my sin.

Thank you, dear Father, for such an incredible display of love and mercy that cost you so much. Please give me a more profound sense of my worth and significance to you, because I know the great price you paid to redeem and adopt me.

In Jesus' holy name I pray. Amen.

The New York Daily News reported this weekend that Rev. Timothy Wright "remains on a respirator but is conscious and alert three weeks after a car accident that killed his wife and grandson." The family hopes to move him to a rehab facility later this week.

Rev. Wright was told last week about the death of his wife; family had been waiting until his condition stabilized before giving him the news.

 The Ten Commandments of Working

In a Hostile Environment

by T.D. Jakes

1. Know that you are anointed for the job or position you now hold. God uses ordinary circumstances as a training ground to perfect our character.

2. Don’t expect to be appreciated. God values humility and servanthood, not pride and entitlement.

3. Embrace opportunities for change. May we reach the stage of maturity when we are no longer surprised by change.

4. Do the job well while remembering the vision. The secret to performing your duties well where you are is to maintain a vision of where you’re headed.

5. Don’t let the environment get inside you. To counter bad attitudes, behavior, and gossip, maintain a regular diet of prayer and Bible study.

6. Increase your capacity to work with difficult personalities. Too often we only try to fit in and connect with others similar to us.

7. Where you are is not where you are going. Be peaceful while progressive. . . .

8. Achieve optimal results with minimal confusion. We spend too much time trying to compensate for our weaknesses rather than capitalizing on our strengths.

9. Do not pledge allegiance to cliques and groups. The enemy tempts us with the security of the group and the approval of others.

10. Keep your song near you. Spend time in God’s presence. Study His Word, offer up prayer, and look deep inside yourself to call up your song—praise and worship Him.
